Windows 95 in Android using Limbo PC Emulator

Hello guys, Welcome to joyzonetech.
In this tutorial post, You will learn to install and run windows 95 using limbo pc emulator with internet enabled.

Requirements:

  • Limbo PC Emulator.(Click here to download)
  • Fx File Explorer.(Available in Playstore)
  • 7Archiver.(Available in Playstore)
  • Hacker's Keyboard-(optional).(Available in Playstore)
  • Windows 95 img file and Windows 95 iso file.(Click here to download)



Method:

Downloading the Necessary Apps and Files:

  • Download all the necessary files required for this method from the above Links.
  • Download the 7z file of Windows 95 from the above link.



Extraction of Windows File:

  • Extract the 7z file using 7Archiver App and after extraction you will get two files, Windows 95 img and Windows 95 iso files.



Configuring Limbo App:

  • Before Opening the Limbo PC Emulator App, We need to Move the application to internal Storage as it can cause shutdown or crashing problem if it runs on SD card.
  • Go to App info Limbo application, Click on Storage location and select Internal Storage.
  • Click on Move and Wait for few seconds until the moving process is completed.'




Setting Limbo PC App:

  • Open the Limbo PC Emulator App, Under load machine option, click on new and enter the name as "Windows 95"and click on CREATE.
  • Now set the contents as follows:
  • CPU/Board:
  • Architecture ==> x64
  • Machine Type ==> pc
  • CPU Model ==> default
  • CPU Cores ==> 4
  • RAM Memory (MB) ==> 400 - 1000 (depends on your Phone's Specification).
  • Storage:
  • Hard Disk A ==> Click on none and select open and select the windows 95 img file.


  • Removable Storage:
  • CDROM ==> Click on none and select open and select the windows 95 iso file.
  • Graphics:
  • VGA Display ==> std


  • Network:
  • Network ==> user
  • Network Card ==> pcnet
  • Boot Settings:
  • Boot from Device ==> default
  • User Interface:
  • User Interface ==> SDL
  • Fullscreen ==> enable


  • Advance:
  • High Priority ==> enable



Booting up Windows 95:

  • Now Click on Play Button and the booting process will start, Booting process can take couple of minutes so be patient.
  • After booting process is completed, you will get pop up asking you to enter username and password, Just click cancel to continue.
  • You will get the desktop appearence of classic Windows 95.



Exploring Windows 95:

  • Click on My Computer to view the File storage and locations.
  • To access the internet, Click on Iexeplorer.exe application and wait for few seconds to load, after few seconds google search browser will appear and you can surf the internet in Windows 95.



Shutting Down Windows 95

  • To close the VM, Press the Back button and Click on Three dots and Select Pause VM and select Pause and click OK and the VM will be closed.
