How to install and run Kali Linux on Android offline using Linux deploy
Hello guys, In this tutorial, Im going to show you how you can run Kali linux operating
system in android.
Android Smartphones are versatile devices which is used for
various purposes and it is the device which has its own
secrets.
Android is a linux based operating system which means it is a
operating system derived from the linux and there is another linux
operating system which is known as Kali linux.
Kali linux is famous among the security purposed in the cyber
world and people love it for the usefulness in testing,Social
engineering and many more.
Kali linux is used for ethical hacking,Penetration testing
,Social engineering and many more
Kali linux is linux based operating system which means we can run
Kali linux in our android smartphones and yes this tutorial will
guide to do it.
Disclaimer:
This trick only works in smartphones which are
rooted!!!
Requirements:
- Rooted android Phone
- Rar (Available in Playstore)
- Es file explorer
- Busy Box
- Linux Deploy
- Termius
- Vnc Viewer (Available in Playstore)
- Kali linux img file
Method:
Downloading the Required apps:
- Download all the necessary apk files for this method.
Downloading the Kali file:
- Download Kali linux img file.
- After downloading the Kali linux img file, Open the Es file explorer App.
- In Es file, Open your download folder.
- Extract the Zip file which you have downloaded and extract it using Rar App.
- Select both the file and click on extract button.
- Wait for the extraction to complete, Extracting usually takes about 4-5 minutes to complete as it is large file.
Creation of Kali folder:
- After Extracting, Click on extracted folder and rename it to Kali.
- Move the Kali folder outside of download folder.
Configuration of Busy Box app:
- Now Open Busy Box app and wait for the installation to complete.
Note:
Dont go to modify anything in busy box app to avoid errors.
Configuration of Linux Deploy app:
- Now open, Linux Deploy app, Wait for updation to complete.
- Click on download icon below, It open properties windows.
- Follow the option given below:
- Containerization method => chroot
- Distribution => Kali linux
- Architecture => armhf
- Distribution suite => Kali rolling
- Source path => http://http.kali.org/kali/
- Installation type => file
- Installation path => Copy and paste Kali img file path
- Image size(MB) => automatic calculation
- File system => ext4
- User name => android
- Password => changeme
- Privileged users => root
- DNS => automatic detection
- Enable:Allow to use initialization system => tick to enable
- Enable:Allow to use SSH server => tick to enable.
- Enable:Allow to use a graphical environment => tick to enable.
- After following above options go back and select the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Click on configure option and click ok to start configuration.
- Wait for the configuration to complete which can take upto 4-5 minutes.
- After the configuration process finishes, Click on Start option below to the start the container process.
Configuration of Termius app:
- After process of container is finished, minimise the app and open the Termius App.
- Click on hamburger button, and select Hosts option.
- Click on "+" icon and select New host option.
- Now follow the option given below:
- Hostname => localhost
- SSH => tick to enable
- port => 22
- Username => android
- Password => changeme
- After following all the options, click on tick mark in the upper right corner to apply changes.
- It will create host, Click on it.
- After that clicking the host you will get pop of RSA Key confirmation, Click on connect.
Termius terminal Setup:
- After connecting, It will direct to the terminal.
- Type the command in the terminal.
- Command:
su
- Type the password => toor
- Type the command to start vnc server.
- Command:
vncserver
- You will get address as localhost:10 where 10 is the session number which changes whenever you open the termius again.
- Now go to the Vnc viewer app, click on "+" sign.
- Type the following options.
- Address => localhost:10
- Name =>Kali
- After typing the following option press done button.
- Click on connect and press OK to continue.
- It will ask for password,Type it as changeme, Enable the remember the password and press continue.
Kali on Android:
- And there you Kali linux in android with the all the features.
- To close the Kali, Just press X symbol in upper right corner and close the app and go the linux depoly app and press Stop to stop the container.
- Here you go Kali linux in android with root method.
- kali linux on android with offlne mode using linux deploy.
