Doom 3 is a famous first person shooter game for pc and it was developed by Id software company.
Doom 3 is a action packed game set in mars where the game's main character is strangled by the alien monsters and his mission is to kill them all and save the humanity living in mars.








This PC game now can be played in Android without any extreme hardware required to run this game and even in android the game gives pc version gameplay so try at aleast once you will love.

If you want to try the game you have to know how to install and run it in android and so i will provide you step by step guide which help you to run this game.

So lets get into it.



Requirements:

1. Fx file browser
2. Doom 3 Zip file


Method:

Installation of Required Apps:

  • Download the fx file browser app from google play store.


Downloading Game file:

  • Download the Doom 3 Zip file which is the main component of this method.


Extraction of Zip File:

  • Open the Fx browser and open the downloaded the zip from the downloads folder
  • Open the zip file with Zarchiver app.
  • After opening the zip file in zarchiver app, you will get two files namely diii4a and diii4a.apk
  • click correct mark and click on extract button to extract.
  • Extraction could take around 5-8 minutes.


Installation and Configuration of Game Application:

  • After extracting the file, open the diii4a.apk file and click on install.
  • After installation, Open the app info of the diii4a apk and set the storage location from external to internal storage, this moving process will reduce the lag and enable the game to run smoothly.
  • This game doesnot work on external storage, This step can be skipped if your game is already installed in internal storage.


Configuring Path inside Game Application

  • Open the diii4a apk, check the path of working diectory.
  • To change path of working directory, open the fx file browser and open the downloads folder, here you will get folder named diii4a.
  • open the diii4a folder and you will folder named base.
  • Copy the path of the base folder, this folder contains all the necessary files which are required to run this game.
  • This base folder can also be copy and paste from pc, if you have the doom 3 pc game files present in your pc, you can locate the base folder and copy and paste the folder in android.
  • Open the diii4a apk and Paste the folder path in the working directory option in diii34a apk.


Configuring Settings inside Game Application:

  • untick the disable lighting option
  • untick the use ETC1 (or RGBA4444) compression.
  • Under controls tab, click on CONFIGURE ON-SCREEN CONTROLS Option, configure your controls accodring to your needs.
  • Under Graphics tab, you select  half and set resolutions to 1920 x 1080, Set the MSAA Option to 4x.
  • Click on START GAME to start playing.


Playing Doom 3:

  • You wll get doom 3 main menu like this screen below.
  • You will a mouse pointer to navigate across the menu and there are several controls in ui which you can play around.


Usage of Cheat Codes:
  • If you want to use cheat code you can do it by clicking on Keyboard button.
  • you summon monsters, from small to boss level monsters, get all weapons become invicible, enter god mode etc.

  • The cheat code i used during this tutorial:
  • god 
  • give all
  • spawn monster_zombie_bernie

  • Cheats code common:
  • god - enter god mode
  • give all - get all fully loaded weapons
  • spawn monster_zombie_bernie - spawn the monsters with their name.
  • noclip - walk through walls
  • givekeys - get all the keys
